Do you want to plan your entire wedding yourself but need some guidance or inspiration to get started? Have you already begun planning but have hit some snags along the way? A Consultation can help point you in the right direction.
In the initial phase of the Consultation process you will contact us to discuss the specific parts of planning your wedding that you need guidance with. Topics you may want consultation for include (but are not limited to):
- How to Start the Planning Process
- Developing a Budget
- Choosing Vendors and a Venue
- Incorporating Cultural Elements into a Modern Wedding
- Wedding Etiquette
- Creating a Wedding Day Timeline
After our initial email or phone conversation, Smith-Jordan Events will take time to carefully prepare the requested information. We will then meet with you (in-person or virtually) to present our recommendations on the consultation topics.
Consultations can consist of a one-time session or ongoing support leading up to your wedding day.
Investment: $100 first hour; $50 each additional hour

MONTH-OF COORDINATION SERVICES
You’ve planned the wedding of your dreams and it’s now only a few months away. The excitement, and the stress, is mounting! You’d rather have fun on your wedding day and enjoy the amazing event you’ve planned instead of worrying about the logistics. What time will the flowers be delivered? Who will put the topper on the cake? Will the DJ remember that he needs to use the freight entrance to bring his equipment into the venue?
Hiring Smith-Jordan Events for Month-of Coordination services will take away these worries because it will be our job to ensure that all the details you planned are executed successfully.
Our Month-Of Coordination services include:
- Meeting 4-6 weeks before your wedding to understand your vision
- Assistance with creating the timeline for your wedding day
- Phone and email support leading up to your wedding
- Contacting your vendors to confirm the service details for your wedding
- Attendance at the rehearsal to guide the wedding party and meet the officiant
- Professional wedding day management - including vendor point of contact, managing the timeline, coordinating the day’s events, problem solving on your behalf
